Privacy Policy

Runlow is an independent iOS app that shows your own Claude Code and Codex usage limits on your Home Screen and Lock Screen. This policy explains what it does and does not do with your information.

01What stays on your device

Everything Runlow keeps, it keeps locally on your iPhone:

• Access tokens. When you connect a provider, the OAuth access token is stored in the iOS Keychain, encrypted by the system. It is only ever sent to the provider that issued it, never to any Runlow server.
• Usage snapshots. Your most recent usage numbers are cached in a local App Group container so the widgets can read them. This cache never leaves your device.
• Settings. Your display and notification preferences are stored on the device.

All of it is removed when you delete the app.

02Network activity

The only network requests Runlow makes on your behalf go directly from your device to the providers you choose to connect (Anthropic for Claude Code, OpenAI for Codex), in order to sign in and read your usage. That traffic is governed by each provider’s own terms and privacy policy. Runlow has no backend: there is no Runlow server, no relay, and no third-party service in between. You can confirm this yourself with iOS’s App Privacy Report (Settings › Privacy & Security), which lists every domain the app contacts.

03No tracking, no ads, no analytics

Runlow contains no advertising, no third-party analytics, and no tracking technologies. There is no analytics SDK, no crash reporter, and no advertising identifier. Nothing you do in the app is used to build a profile of you or shared with anyone.

04In-app purchase

Runlow is free to use. It offers one optional one-time purchase, Runlow Pro, which unlocks additional features. The payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store using Apple’s own in-app purchase system. Runlow never sees your card, billing, or account details, and does not use any third-party purchase-management service. If you never buy Pro, no purchase data is involved at all.

05Children

Runlow is a developer utility and is not directed at children. Because it collects no personal data, it does not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

06Not affiliated

Runlow is an independent personal project. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Anthropic or OpenAI. Provider names such as Claude Code and Codex are used only to identify the services you choose to connect; all trademarks remain the property of their respective owners.

07Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new effective date.
